The 1V1 Futbol Dreams experience: creating opportunities for all players to learn, guiding players to discover new skills and enhancing each player’s development.
The 1V1 Futbol Dreams approach is to create an environment where all players have an opportunity to perform at their highest level and reach their full potential. This is achieved by coaching and educating players technically, tactically, physically and psychologically while providing a fun, safe environment. This is based on a mixture of European and South American mentorship - teaching methods under the guidance of former professional soccer player and current Technical Director Nano Romero.

MINI ACADEMY
The 1V1 Futbol Dreams weekly Mini Academy is designed for children 4 - 8 years old focusing on a central theme of having fun. Our instructors will encourage players to be creative while developing their athletic ability. The curriculum will consist of three stations with a duration of 18 minutes per station. Introduction to the 1v1 format of training.
TECHNICAL: This station involves drills that implement dribbling, passing, controlling, shooting and basic Futbol skills.
AGILITY & COORDINATION: This station involves drills that implement coordination, speed agility and balance. We introduce multilateral movements and combine all movements with and without ball.
SMALL SIDED GAMES: Players are encouraged to apply what they have learned in the training session. A variety of scrimmages and multiple types of small sided games.

GIRLS/BOYS ACADEMY
The 1V1 Futbol Dreams weekly Girls/Boys Academy is designed for children 9 - 16 year olds focusing on individual soccer skills, improving tactical awareness and the intelligence of decision making in a game. Our instructors are experienced and have all played at the University (NCAA / CIS) or Professional level, thus being able to demonstrate the task at hand.
9 - 11 YEARS OLD: The main focus is to improve technique, skill, vision of the game and introduce game like scenarios. Introducing competition.
12 - 14 YEARS OLD: Focusing on maximum repetitions to improve technical skill. Competition at this level increases to put players in pressure like game scenarios. At this age fitness drills increase.
15 - 16 YEARS OLD: Focusing on mastering technical skill in a game like scenario with maximum repetition. To compete under pressure and improve decision making at maximum speed of play. Coordination, balance, speed and lateral movement are increased to enable the player to perform at their highest level.
WHETHER YOU ARE A BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE OR AN ELITE PLAYER YOU WILL BE GROUPED ACCORDING TO LEVEL, REGARDLESS OF AGE IN A FUN, SAFE AND PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT.

The 1V1 Futbol Dreams Goalkeeper Academy is designed for children 9 - 16 years old focusing on the fundamental techniques layered with the physical, tactical and psychological demands of the position.
